I WAS DRIVING TO WORK ALMOST DURING RUSH HOUR IN THE FAR LEFT LANE ON THE EXPRESSWAY, DOING ABOUT 65 MPH. THEN I NOTICED I WAS SLOWING DOING WHILE I HAD MY FOOT ON THE GAS. THE VEHICLE STOP ACCELERATING. THE RPMS WERE MOVING. I HAD TO PUT MY HAZARDS ON AND MERGE OVER NOT TO GET KILLED ALL 4 LANES OF TRAFFIC. I NEARLY GOT RAN OFF THE ROAD BY A SEMI AND A BIG DIESEL FORD TRUCK.
I GOT SAFELY OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND PUT THE CAR IN PARK. I WAS SO SCARED AND MAD AT THE SAME TIME. SHUT THE CAR OFF, WALKED AROUND AND INSPECTED IT. CHECKED UNDER THE HOOD - NOTHING WAS LOOSE, HANGING OR LEAKING FROM THE CAR.
THE STARTED THE CAR UP AND IT WAS ABLE TO ACCELERATE. I JUMPED OFF THE EXPRESSWAY AND TOOK THE SIDE STREETS. I WAS LATE GETTING TO WORK.
WE TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND ON THE WAY IT HAPPENED 2 MORE TIMES.
THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THEY REPROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER. WE DROVE OFF AND WENT HOME.

In the two years I've leased this piece of junk, I have had to replace my spark plugs three times. Purchase a new ECU and have it programmed. As of to date I'm getting another misfire in my car and will have to replace the plugs a fourth time. The car doesn't want to accelerate and constantly hesitates. I put in easily 5 thousand dollars in repairs that should of not needed to be done. This is the worst car ever made and that has been said by numerous people who have opened this particular model.
