I was told it was the throttle sensor so I had it replaced. A week later it did the same thing. Now Mitsubishi is telling me it is the pcm (computer and it will cost $4000 to replace. It is also 8,000 kms past the warranty and they will not cover under warranty. How many Outlanders with that amount of kms has a computer failure? I am really upset about this as it was probably the pcm all along and here I spent $1300 for nothing as it did not solve the problem N I am stuck with a car I cant drive, cant sell and cant afford to fix as I am a pensioner.
