Takata recall and windshield wiper recall. My car was put on defective air bag recall a few years ago and I was told today again that no replacements were available and my car was not on the recall list. Also received letter Dec 2016 saying make an appt. For inspection of windshield wiper problem but no parts are available to fix that either!

Speedometer is impossible to read under certain lighting conditions- also wish to know if the air bag is being recalled. There is a clunking noise when backing up with the steering wheel turned. The dealer has replaced the hub bearings twice and it is still making this noise.

The contact owns a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander. While driving 45 mph, the contact attempted to apply the brakes, but could not stop the vehicle in time. As a result, he rear ended another vehicle. The contact stated that his seat belt failed to restrain him and he struck the steering wheel and sun visor. The air bags failed to deploy. The front end of the vehicle was damaged. A police report was filed. He was able to drive the vehicle to his residence. The current and failure mileages were 2,300.

On June 21,2007 I was involved in an accident. The front of 2007 mitsibushi outlnder was crushed in. The car was 4 months old. The car has since been totaled due to about $13,000 worth of damage. The problem is that I was 9 months pregnant and the air bags failed to deploy. The body shop stated that they should have and that the crossbeam that holds the airbag sensor was what busted the radiator as well as the block. I could have been killed as well as my unborn child.
