A police report was filed. On another occasion, while driving, the engine locked up and the brakes failed to respond. As a result, the vehicle rolled backwards into a telephone pole. Purchased new vehicle with 9 miles on the car. At 283 miles (on a road trip driving on the highway) the "power steering service required" notification came on and I could not turn the steering wheel. Once home, took the car to dealership and "no system failure" came up on the machine at the dealership and I was told to call back if is happens again. Took the car home and at 788 miles the same incident occurred again while driving on the highway and coming out of a shopping center (1459 miles) and I could not turn my wheel. At 1459 miles, the car was towed to nearest dealership and they had to replace the power steering system on a brand new 2016 car. This should not be happening on a brand new car and I was in traffic with my infant son.
