I purchased the same car brand new, and in March 2024, I took it to the service center for an oil and filter change, as well as a screen replacement due to a recall. While there, the technicians informed me that the brakes were wearing out and needed to be replaced, so I approved the replacement.
Nearly three weeks later, the brakes failed, leading to an accident that totaled the car. I filed a claim with the corporate office, submitted all the required documents and invoices, and finally managed to speak with the case manager today. To my surprise, they falsely claimed that they had tried to contact me for additional information and that I was unresponsive, which is completely untrue.
Then, the case manager informed me that the car had been sold and they couldn’t locate it, asking me to find the car for their inspection. This situation is unacceptable, and we have a strong case here.
