Today my wife accidentally rubbed the front right tire wheel rim over a sidewalk at about 30 MPH and all the right side airbags deployed, including the right side airbags of both front seats and rear seat. Also, ALL seatbelts are permanently locked. There was no impact to the body... You can see in the photos that only about 4 - 6 inches of the wheel rim was badly scratched... not bent or broken. Will be an extremely costly repair for such a relative small situation.
Update from Jul 22, 2022: Took the unit to the Mitsubishi dealer and after further inspection, the front right strut has to be replaced (?). They quoted the repair of the damages and it sums up to around $8,500. Makes me wonder how this vehicle would hold up to a real collision...
