I purchased a new 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport on Decemeber 28th 2015. Less than 2 weeks later while starting to go after a red light turned the car got half way through the intersection and the car just fell on its face. The D on the gauge cluster went away and rpms dropped below 800 and the car was not responding or moving. After a couple seconds everything came back and it started moving again. Between then and beginning of Feb. it did this 2 more times, always while acceleraiting just out of the blue it would just nose over, D would be gone and car is non responsive. I called the dealer and they had no idea what it could be and said to bring iit in. They could not recreate the problem so I went on. From Feb. 1st to March 2nd it progressed to doing this at least once a day but totally out of the blue. It might happen within the first 2 miles of home on one day and the next day not happen till the afternoon. I was almost hit from behind several times. Now on March second it became extremely dangerous, I was taking my daughter to school, turning across the highway and it did it again. The car just stopped half way across with its usual symptons only this time it did not come right back up within a second or 2. It seemed like forever as I am watching the light down the highway turn green and traffic heading towards us but was more like a good 12 to 15 seconds. I was panicly pressing the gas but the rpms did not move. It was in gear but the D on the gauge panel was gone. It got to the point I was grabbing the door handle to open it and jump out to push when all the sudden it all came back. I got my daughter to school and called the dealership and said it is now dangerous. They said bring it back. No codes came up, again they could not get it to do it for them on a drive. This time though they called mitsubishi in california and they told them never heard of the issue. They called me back at 4 that afternoon and said a regional manager told them it was inhibitor switch, that this was the 3rd sport he had heard these exact issues on and thats what they changed to fix it. I will not get the car back until next weds and I pray it will be fixed. I should not have to fear driving my brand new car that right now has less than 3,000 miles on it.

I brought a 2015 Mitsubishi Sport Outlander brand new just two months ago. It stalls when I'm pulling off, Was pulling off from a red light the other day and it stalled in the middle of the intersection. After a few seconds, it was driveable. This is dangerous and I'm very concerned for my safety when driving as it has stalled several times before. The service people aren't treating this with urgency and one dealership was rather rude. Ironically, as I was driving away from the dealership there was a commercial about their "award winning" service. I laughed. Mitsubishi need to treat this matter as urgent and stop pretending they don't know that there have been recalls on their vehicles for stalling. Thanks to the internet I have printed off several pieces of materials and will be presenting them to the service departments and Mitsubishi headquarters.

I bot it brand new for $20300. Had it 2 weeks and every time I would stop at a light to take off, it would stop in the middle of an intersection. It almost killed me. Took it in to get it fixed. They said they did not know how to fix it, so they called in factory rep. They did not have a fix for it. I told the head of sales 'I do not want this car it is going to kill me'. They took it in as a used car 150 miles only and screwed me out of $3,300 and had to pick out something else because they will not give money back. I got stuck with the a black Outlander, not what I wanted, 2.4 engine and $6,000 more. Filed complaint with Attorney General, no help at all. Turned it over to a mediator. When they looked into it they the sales people said nothing was wrong with it and they sold it. BIGGEST BUNCH OF BULL SH*T I EVER HEARD OF.

NEVER BUY AT MITSUBISHI OF BOARDMAN OHIO, THEY ARE ALL FULL OF SH*T. THANKS FOR READING
