I've had my routine maintenance done on this vehicle since I financed it back in June of 2019 which was at 47K miles. There was no issues, I had my last maintenance done in October at 70K miles. My transmission showed no signs of going out, there's no leakage of any sort. It just decided Saturday, January 2 of 2021 that it was just going to go out. I took it to the dealership January 5th, and he told me it'll be $7035.09 to replace. I feel as though there should be a recall on this transmission just like the recalls for the 2016 models. The dash just now says transmission service required. It was so sudden! I was at 35mph and the car began to shudder upon acceleration while driving Saturday. So, I had to drive at least 10miles back home at 20mph, because I wasn't sure of what the issue was at that moment. I had a mechanic check the transmission fluid and he says that there wasn't a drop of fluid in there. When I go get maintenance done I am trusting them to make sure I have everything checked in order for me to fell trust and be safe while driving a vehicle that I financed from them. I could've had a accident or anything. They've only checked what they were paid to do and that was the oil change without ever checking my transmission fluid. Theres no holes nor any leakage the code ran and says P084A transmission has internal damage. I've replaced the windshield wiper twice and the takes a while to defrost the wiper blades move slowly when turned to the max when theres a storm.
