I own a 2006 Nissan 350Z roadster. The passenger airbag indicator light came on blinking none stop. The symptom is similar to the Nissan 2007 and 2008 model described in the NHTSA recall bulletin. I want to know if the recall can be expanded to include older models?

My wife was involved in an accident where she T-boned another driver after he made an illegal turn in front of her. The airbags in her car did not deploy. She hit this guy at approximately 35 miles per hour.
