370Z Roadster 3.7L

  • Manual transmission
  • 25,000 miles

When the car overheats, the clutch sticks to the floor and it is impossible to shift gears. Why has problem has not been fixed - because issue only happened when car was driven in 4th gear and engine temperature went up to about 250-260. After car cooled down, clutch returned to normal but did smell burned. Another time during spirited driving not anywhere near race pace the same thing happens. CAR SEEMS TO RUN HOT AT normal speeds. In Florida weather, I clock the heat at about 220 on the highway speeds at 70mph.

370Z Roadster

  • Manual transmission

clutch sticks to floor and cannot get it in gear

I have taken the car 2x to Nissan, and they could not find the problem....even though I had to pay 2x. Took it to a repair shop and it took them two weeks to find and resolve the problem. When I contacted Nissan, they said that it was a maintenance problem and that had no liability.
