Almera SE 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 210,989 miles

was driving down the highway again and I was going about 55. my car got to high way speed and then all of the sudden it acted it like it went into neutral. I had to slow down tried to put my car into the lower gears and the car would not catch any of the gears. I was about 2 miles from my house I had to drive all the way home stuck in first gear. Happened three times the second time my mom got in my car and had to floor it for it to shift when it shifted it hid really hard the check engine light came on took the car to a transmission specialist. he said that he could not get the results to happen again but if it did happen again the vechiel speed sensor needed to be replaced
