I was driving to school as normal, with the exception that my truck had broke down and I was driving my friend's car. Its a clean car, and well maintained and he has never had any problems for as long as he owned it. So on my way to school, mind you it had just rained, I was about to take this curve. Following triffic at the posted speed limit I braked befor taking the curve when suddenly all of the brakes LOCK UP!!! and instead of turning I went stright, hitting a Hummer H3. Not alot of damage accured to the car since nether of us were going that fast but I need to know what the hell happend because my friend is pissed, and so am I....

I hate this car very very very much. Last year the timing chain broke, and I had to replace the engine. After that, the radiator blew up. Nearly weeks after the radiator, the Intake Manifold Gasket had to be replaced.... couple more weeks and it started to overheat, and as it should have been replaced with the Radiator, I needed a new Thermostat, the old one was sticking and causing overheating. Now my head gasket might be damaged slightly because the fans are always running on and off completely (erratically) randomly.

The power antenna broke, replaced it with rubber, the driver side window switch broke, cost 160 bucks to replace, the dome light stopped working, the check engine light is on... Oh yea... and I did all the brakes all around.... the rear drums were stuck on.... it cost me labor out my ears to have it fixed, then the front brakes were popping... and recently after the popping it finally popped one last time and the brakes gave out!

I believe, that at a certain point you have to just cut your losses, and accept that a car is cursed and doesn't want to run anymore. Nissan complicated their products waay too much to try and meet multiple consumers' needs. Get a simpler Honda, and drive forever with regular maintenance!!!! Sorry Nissan..... your product sucks in my opinion. I had an 90 Honda CRX, that ran like a top at over 200,000 miles. And I'm willing to bet my 2007 Tahoe that it's still out on the road running with its new owner!!!!
