My daughter has a 2003 Altima with approx 43000mi. It appears the transmission is making noise. Noise with minor vibration is evident while traveling at speeds around 25 to 55MPH and tends to go away around 60MPH. I set the car on HD stands and chocked rear wheels. I put the trans in gear, and found out the noise/vibration was only occurring during 3rd and drive speed selection. I also applied slight drag on brakes to load trans during this test. Has anybody experience this problem? I'm assuming a bearing or gear might be starting to fail.
