I believe a recall should be placed for this problem. When the temperature falls below 10 degrees F, the brake pedal is hard and won't move therefore the brakes won't apply.
This could cause a serious injury or death. It happens intermittently. Since other less serious problems warrant a recall why wouldn't this?
It seems to be a common problem not only on 05 models. Just search the internet.

This happened shortly after purchased the car. I was told by the dealer that it was nothing. There are times in the cold weather when I went to step on the brakes when it was cold out to stop for a stop sign and went right into the intersection, the brakes went down to the floor . This has happened several times over the course of the years. I have had the brakes replaced twice since then and still it happens. Today I went to stop and its a warm day out 65 degrees and it did it again. I went to stop for a stop sign and the brakes went down to the floor and I went into the intersection. When it happens it makes a funny sound not like a screeching or a rubbing of metal . Its hard to explain. I took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. So why is this happening if nothing is wrong?
