Altima SE V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,800 miles

I noticed the car smelling like antifreeze when it was new, but Nissan said the could not find any leak. Just after the warranty expired, I noted the liquid on top of the radiator. When I took it to the shop they replaced the radiator. Nissan seemingly tries not to repair anything under warranty.

Altima SE 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,000 miles

There was a noted smell of antifreeze upon the first time driven but, we could not find out where it was coming from. It would be apparent intermittently over the course of three years. Finally it was determined that a hairline crack on top of the plastic radiator tan was the source of the leak.
