There I was in my Altima one evening awaiting a takeaway dinner. Suddenly the brake and battery indicators came on. I carefully drove back home. I searched the net and found the alternator required changing. So I gave it to the mechanic and he installed a new alternator. By the way, I had to change the engine gasket and affix new left headlamp and rear lights. It was a scary experience.
