I have a 2005 Nissan Altima, I have changed the alternator in 2009 and a motor mount that was broken in 2010, one Nissan dealership stated that I should have replaced all four motor mounts instead of one at that time. I know have another motor mount that is broken and my car vibrates and makes a noise as well, when I put my AC on it get worse and the vibration gets stronger. This is my first Nissan and my last due to all the problems I am having with this vechicle. In Sept 2010 my crank sensor went out and the ECM needed to be reprogrammed...my car still runs like crap and has lost power..I will never buy Nissan again.

When the recall came out, the vehicle was fine but i took it in to get fixed anyway. They reprogramed the ECU. The car got me where I needed to go. Then one day I was driving in a school zone to go to a Wal-mart down the street and it stalled out. And it kept stalling out. I WAS PISSED! So it got to the point where i had to have it towed to Nissan. (FYI United Nissan in Las Vegas,Nevada) (My mom hates that place) They said it was the recall but this time it was the Camshaft POS sensor. They told me I had to pay $1400 to get a new one. Luckily my mom was with me that day and cussed out about every service rep in that dealership. So they put it under warranty for me. I will NEVER! and i mean NEVER! BUY A NISSAN AGAIN! In fact when i get enough money imma go buy a Hyundai Genesis Coupe

I was driving my 2005 Nissan Altima and it died in the middle of the road. I had a diagnostic test performed on my car. It came back as my CRANKSHAFT SENSOR. We fixed the sensor. Not even a month later the same thing happened again. THIS TIME THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR. I did research on the computer and found that there is a recall on the ECM. The ECM needs reprogrammed. This caused my sensors to go out. 1800 Nissan 1 and Nissan dealerships will take no responsibility for the parts going bad and want to charge me over 200.00 to fix it. After researching this for a while on the computer this is happening to thousands of Nissan car owners. There has been deaths serious accidents. The computer cannot be reprogrammed until the sensors are replaced. Unfortunately the owners of the vehicles including me cannot afford the parts and or don't feel as if they are responsible for them and death and serious accidents are occurring. My car is broke down on the side of the road and Nissan is not taking on any responsibility they want to fix half the problem and leave me to pay for the damage done to the vehicle from their malfunctions in the Altimas computers.
