The only fix for this is a total replacement of the rubber run, but the new ones probably will do the same thing. Apparently the material is not mold, and mildew resistant. The only way that I found to clean it is with a Clorox antibacterial spray, then put on a shoe water repellant with a rag. The mold smell comes into the car when moving. The fix should last about three months, a real pain.
