within 2 days of changing out the cam & crank shaft sensors, the engine lite came back on and immediately began not starting.
replaced the sensors again, still warranted by AutoZone, the problem still exists. My daughter receives points for being late for work.....she now has 16 pts and when she reaches 24, she will be fired. I have had battery, alternator, starter, everything possible checked....still no answers........I pray everyday for my daughters' safety and ability to get to work without incident....God help heal our land and keep us safe!

I am person that always make sure my car is service right.I have own other Nissan cars and never had a problem this so.My opinion Nissan is responsible to me if there are others cars that has had the same problem, why not the one they say are not on that list for a recall its obvious there is a problem.Nissan ,has been a car that would last over hundreds of miles before any major problems.And i do understand nothing last forever but hell at less miles i don't think so....

Check engine lights come on and off and same code keeps coming up random misfire on the engine cylinders. Nissan will replace plugs and coils 1st but that will not fix the problem. They will have to replace ECM and run their own ground wires to fix the problem. So if you are having this problem most likely it is not the plugs and coils.

The problem started out with the check engine light staying on and my car being hard to start at times. After trying several times, it would finally catch and start. I had an oil change and tune up, but it did not help. Starting got harder and harder to the point it does not start now.
I had a mechanic hook it up to a computer and it said it was the crank shaft sensor. I bought the sensor, but when trying to install discovered it wasn't the correct one, but I could not return it. I had to order a new one. I tried ordering the plugin for it, but could not find anyone that had this or could even order so we had to make due with the old one. After changing the crankshaft position sensor, it still would not start so I had to get a cam shaft sensor. This was changed, but still won't start.
Upon reading problems with the 2006 Nissan Altima, I saw thousands of complaints with this same problem. Now the mechanic is telling me it is the fuel filter. I don't want to spend a lot of money fixing everything and then not have it work. I read where there was a recall because of one of the sensors I mentioned above. Has anyone had these same problems and what did they do to fix all the problems and get the vehicle running?
