Originally had front wheels shake when going above 60mph. The dealer told me 2 front lower control arms were bad. I went ahead and replaced them myself. Car drove fine. No problems but still some shake which I believe were because 2 tires were close to bald and other 2 tires had really bad uneven wear from the control arm problem.
I got a flat tire so went ahead and replaced all four. The tire place said I needed a 4 wheel alignment. After alignment it goes all over the place. It almost feels that both rear wheels decide to track to the right so have to compensate with the front wheels so almost like 4 wheel steering.
Took it to the Nissan dealer. They acknowledged it was bad. They did another 4 wheel alignment but car still wanders around the road like it is really windy. The dealer suggested replacing both rear knuckles for about $1,800. They said to start there as they did not really know the answer.
Parts are about $280 so I ordered them and was replacing one. I looked close at the knuckle and could find no problems. All bushings were intact and not cracked, broken or dry-rotted. I returned the parts and put it back together.
If I cannot find a solution soon I will go ahead and try replacing the bushings.
