It's sad when my 2009 Nissan Altima steering wheel lock actuator goes out and you call the dealership and they basically tell you that there is nothing they can do, but I can pay 950 bucks and they will fix it. So I bought a new actuator, and - nope, the new one isn't working. The fuse is good, so I'm wondering if the part is faulty, but good lord, it took 2 weeks to get here, so yes I'm highly pissed.

This has been a problem for some time and was on recall. Now, they say it's my responsibility to have it fixed and pay for it, and they won't honor the recall. This is coming from the manufacturer. If it's on recall, they should have to replace it, no matter what. I don't have $1,000 to replace it. Being on disability I have limited funds, since I just purchased the car when it went out on me 6 days later.
