i'm not sure whether this is a steering problem or a suspension problem but it has happened four or five times in the year that i have owned my 2009 nissan altima. it has happened in rainy and dry conditions. always at low speeds - 45 MPH or less - and happens on VERY gentle curves - the rear end will feel really 'loose' and the skid will start & the rear end will start to come around and then it will feel like i am going into a 4-wheel drift with no control whatsoever - it has done this in curves to both the right & left. steering into the skid doesn't seem to help any while immediately letting up on the gas usually corrects the problem but it is scary. there is NO WAY that this car should skid on the curves i am talking about, especially at the speeds that it skids.
i have scoured the internet looking for another report on this problem and have come up with zip - has/does anyone else had this problem??
