I went against my better judgement and added an extended warranty when I purchased my 2009 Altima 2.5S from a Nissan Dealership. I am glad I did, because they ended up replacing faulty tire pressure monitors 5 times during the life of the warranty. I was given a quote of $350 before it was covered. They went bad again after the warranty expired, and now I just live with an annoying indicator light on my dash...

Tire pressure System light is ALWAYS on. I'm so frustrated with this car and all the stupid stuff that has gone wrong with it. Nissan made a very, very crappy Altima in 2009. What a piece of crap... stuff doesn't last... such a money pit!!
