Most common solutions:

- replace radio (1 reports)
Radio doesn't display features causing the Bluetooth to sound static when talking. Nissan will not replace radio due to only having certified pre-owned warranty. This car is not old, it is only two years old. I should not have to replace the radio of only having it one year.

I was happy to finally get bluetooth integrated with my car. My wife add a Versa 2008 with the tech package where bluetooth was present and it worked great.
I use an iPhone. Pairing was easy; Connecting every time is not immediate - takes up to a minute. It wants to verify (I think) phonebook changes so that it can (again, I think) list them.
Placing a call is bloody long and complicated. For instance, if I want to call someone who's phone number I know, I need to say that I will dial phone number, give it the phone number - that part is fine. Then it gives me the phone number back to confirm - after having confirmed, it now says dialing ### ### ####, says dial or correct... and on and on
I would like it it be like it was before - you store a name with an attached phone number and say "Dial Nicole" it would reply with "dialing nicole" - if it was wrong, you could quickly start over.
Should you need to call a number that wasn't pre-recorded, you just went "call ###-###-####" and it would reply "Calling ###-###-####" - Now, that was efficient.
I tried reaching Nissan Canada to tell them that much and see if they had any option to upgrade my bluetooth application but they do not list a email contact and it is not convenient for me to call them at their available times.

blue tooth will not pick up phonebook or dial out
The vehicle was less than 3 years old when this problem started. I have taken out and put in the phonebook several times with no success of it being read by the system or the ability to call out. I can receive calls and I can start a call on my phone and it will connect but I cannot call out and cannot connect to the phonebook. Have full coverage under extended warranty but I am told that it will cost $139 for them to look at and the warranty company might not even agree to its repair! WTF?
