Altima SL 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,000 miles

During the winter months, when it's cold, my windows go up VERY slowly. At certain points during the winter, while it was snowing, my window wouldn't go up by itself and I had to grab the window and help pull it up. It still went up very slow but did eventually go up. I took it back to the dealer in Dec. and they said that there was salt buildup down in the window. 30 years of owning cars and I've never heard of this. especially since they don't use salt anymore, and the stuff they do use they use VERY sparingly. Anyway, they said they cleaned it out and it should be good, but at about the second week of January it was starting to have trouble going up again.
