A month ago my drivers side interior door handle broke which is crazy for a car of 4 years. Since I didn't have the money to fix it, I had to resort to putting the window down and opening the door from the outside. Embarrassing. Figured I'd get it fixed when my tax return came in. Well, tonight the passenger side broke. I'm disgusted. I will not buy another Nissan. I guess I'll look on the bright side and say my tax return came in and I can now get them both fixed. Thanks Nissan. I like working my ass off for your cheap sh*t.

Well, obviously my 2013 Altima is not the only one with a broken door handle. I never had a problem with my door handle, and then it all of a sudden broke - with no warning. This sounds like it is a very wide problem. My handle broke about a 1.5 month ago. So, just as many others have done, I have had to roll the window down to open the car from the outside to get out of the car. Yes, it is embarrassing. But I accepted the fact that this was the only option until I could get this fixed. Apparently, I have overworked my driver's window due to having to roll it down every.single.time I have to get out of my car. As of 3 days ago, my window is now broke. It will not roll up or down. SO YES, I am now having to CRAWL OUT of my car on thru the passenger side every.single.time I have to get out of my car. This door handle issue needs to be recalled. It's ridiculous!!!!!!! I took it to the local Nissan dealership 2 days ago, and they were repairing another 2013 Altima door handle while I was there.

Interior driver door handle broken. WTF!! I have never had this type of problem with a car that has less than 100,000 miles and I have owned many cars. Embarrassing and a hassle. The dealer wants $180 to fix it. I am going to trade in this car ASAP and it won't be for a Nissan. Especially after I have heard about the CVT problems.

I just went to get out of the car this morning when I got to work and the door handle felt like it broke inside. I had to roll down the window to get out of the car. This is the type of stuff you don't expect in the better cars. This will definitely be my last Nissan.. Nissan cars use to be a great value, not anymore. This is turning into a POS!! 3 years old and going south fast!!

The interior driver's door handle just suddenly stopped working one day and needed to be replaced. Ridiculous that a 3 year old car should have a broken door handle from normal use.
