If you value your life, avoid Nissan at all cost. I used to brag on them until today when I almost lost my life to their faulty equipment. After three mechanic stops and $1500, the car still stalls unexpectedly leaving me almost being hit while turning past incoming traffic. Totally afraid of this car now. Shouldn't be living in such fear. Nissan could care less. Buyers beware!

This is the guy with the 2013 Altima again. I didn't mention the headlights you need hi-beams to drive at night. If you drop something at night, forget it, the cabin is way too dark (I can't believe I got the screw job), everyone do your homework please. This site is great - I wish I found it before I bought the car.

Altima SV 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

Right now, KBB is rating my car with a trade-in value of about $13,000. And only $15,200 if selling as to a private party. If I were to want to keep my car after my lease expires in 17 months, I would have to shell another $15,000+ not to mention those 17 other payments I currently have to make. Needless to say, I will be turning my one and only ever in my life Nissan in as soon as that 36th month comes around.

Update from May 12, 2015: 30,000 miles and the car value is still at about 13,000 trade in per both Edmunds and KBB.
