My 2014 Nissan Altima headlights are very dim and I have to drive with brights on just to see at night. This is a real safety concern. I have replaced the bulbs twice with led and hid and they have not fixed the problem.

I am issuing a complaint about my 2014 Nissan Altima due to the extreme dullness of headlight power. Nissan has failed to acknowledge this issue, and the fact that is indeed a safety concern. There have been many times where I have had to slam on my breaks because I nearly hit a large animal or other object in the road. My headlights do not project far or wide. Id estimate they project 4 feet in front of me, I have tried adjusting the headlights up and changing to very expensive and high quality led bulbs, with no improvement.

Driver side headlight is very dim and very hard to see at night. I replaced the bulb, but after replacing the bulb it still very dim on driver side headlight. Its very hard to drive at night with this poor lighting. If I drive with high beams other cars flash me to lower the light because I blind them with the high beams.

Driver side headlight is dim. Changing the bulb doesn't help. The projector inside the housing goes bad prematurely and the headlight must be replaced as a whole. I had this car brand new and it's well taken care of. It has 82K miles on it. My wife was pulled over because of this. Nissan will not help.

I have a 2014 Nissan Altima sv, and the low-beam headlights are dangerously dim. I also did some online searches and find that other Altima owners are experiencing the same problem. The dim low beam is obviously a safety issue! the cloudy projector lens is the reason! because, firstly I replaced the bulbs, but there was no change; secondly, the high beam works perfectly, indicating the there is no problem with the outer transparent shield. The high beam bulb lies in a regular reflection bowl rather than in a projector like the low beam used. Other vehicles equipped with regular reflection bowl for low beam works perfectly, such as 2007 Buick lucerne (12 years age!). therefore, the design of the low beam using a projector on 2014 Nissan Altima is defective, putting the driver and passengers into danger when the low-beam headlights getting dim. They need to open a recall and replace the headlight assembly as soon as possible.

The last couple months I noticed the headlight were getting dimmer. I replaced the bulbs with ones that are 60% brighter but it was marginally brighter. I can barely see a few feet in front if it's completely dark. I can see my car's shadow cast from the lights of the car behind me. I cannot tell if the lights are on until I'm right behind a vehicle. Road signs are barely luminated and I have to switch to high beams if there are no cars ahead of me.

The headlights are very dim. Bulbs have been replaced and no change in lighting. At night the lights are so dim that you cannot see if anything is in the street ahead. I have to wait until I pull behind someone to see if the lights are still on. This is very dangerous and I have read many complaints of this same problem. I was told that the battery was low. Replaced the battery and no change in the lighting. Something needs to be done about this. I have not had an accident but something is bound to happen to someone sooner or later due to this problem. I don't feel someone should be injured or killed before something is done about the problem.

The low beam headlights are extremely dim, they are very unsafe when driving at night you can't see more than a few feet in front of the vehicle, street signs and road reflectors do not illuminate at all. I have replaced the bulbs several times with out any improvement, the most recent change was made with a new led lighting kit with no improvement in the down road vision. The problem does not change if the vehicle is standing at idle or in motion.

The headlights are progressively getting more dim over time. Lights are dim all the time, not related to idle or other functions. Mileage is 80,000 miles. Night driving is hazardous. The headlights are lighting only a few feet in front of the car, not illuminating traffic signs, difficulty when making turns at a corner or driveway. I have to use my high beams at night, the high beams work fine but are a hazard for oncoming traffic. This is now a safety hazard that needs immediate attention.

Headlamps are dimming and night time driving requires the use of high beams. Dealer stated that it is normal wear and tear. Only option is to replace the headlamps. Vehicle has 52,600 miles. It is not safe to drive without good illuminated visibility.
