faulty key fob faulty key fob

Nissan keeps changing batteries even sends some packs home with me. My car has been running for the last 2 days because now the new battery dont even temporary make it work. So now they are saying i have a bigger problem than a battery and they will check it out today at 3. So if new keys are 300 a piece I'm going to hate the bill they give me today. Keep you updated...

Update from Mar 9, 2019: Update... So dealership informed me key fob just stop working. No broken components, no traces of water/dirt or moisture inside and even no neglect of my own because it was just stopped working ( which to me that is faulty equipment on there end!!!) I had to pay $416.66 for a new key which is completely outright robbery, but have to pay so I can drive the car. No manufacture warranty or my real expensive unlimited bumper to bumper warranty covers the cost due to its not attached to my car to count as a electrical failure. I feel like if the key had an electrical failure due to my neglect then it shouldn't be covered. The reason i bought the warranty is to protect me for faulty equipment i know electric parts can stop working at anytime and i would have been perfectly fine with paying my $100.00 deductible.

There have been at least two separate occasions when the remote start on the car was inoperable. One was a rainy day. The other was a really cold day. The problem was always resolved by the next day. I'm just logging it as a sign of what's to come. Additionally, there has been at least one occasion when the key fob would not unlock the trunk. I had to do so from inside.
