Altima S V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

2017 Nissan Altima was diagnosed with transmission problems ($200) and rear brake problems ($200) by June. We brought it in March 2021 for an oil change (free). Our FREE warranty just ran out and they suddenly were finding things supposedly wrong with the car. It couldn't have been found during the warranty??

This is our 5th Nissan and they are going downhill quickly. The A/C takes a while to cool down. The filters are all replaced and clean. The car is getting loud, and I fear the transmission actually failing while I drive. This is unacceptable. We only have 33k miles as of July 2021. This shouldn't be falling apart and we don't trust this PUSHY car dealership anymore.

If this transmission is a dud, there should be a class action lawsuit against Nissan. Also, the hood latch was supposedly repaired but it's still not working.
