2018 NISSAN ALTIMA HAS A DEFECTIVE PUSH START AND BRAKING SYSTEM. UNABLE TO START CAR WITH PUSH START BECAUSE IT FEELS AS IF THE BRAKES ARE STUCK. I HAVE TO CONTINUOUSLY PUMP THE BRAKE IN ORDER TO START THE CAR. It has progressively gotten worse so I called my local dealer where I bought the car and since i can not get it to start. Today I ask if the could tow it with it being under warranty and all they said it would be about a week to get to look at the car so now I'm with loyal transportation and no help from the dealership - Nissan is really pushing me away. First time buying a brand new car with 8 miles - it's really not looking too good for Nissan in my book.

Altima

  • Automatic transmission
  • 46,000 miles

After purchasing the car in August all seemed well, then suddenly after pressing brake and start button the car won't start. The interior lights come on but car doesn't start. Eventually after several attempts it will start. I took it to the shop for this and they say they can't find any problem. I never know if I'm going to be stranded. It's a very scary feeling when you're a single woman who works an hour from home. I pray every time I have to leave that it will start.

Unfortunately this isn't the only problem - I've had to put the car in the shop twice because the windows won't roll down and the seat adjustment stopped working. Also having an issue with the obstruction sensor going off saying there's a car in front of you and nothing's there. I've had the car almost seven months and its been in the shop three times and it still has issues they don't know how or what to fix. I am so frustrated. I think I have a Lemon...

Nissan, do something...
