The key fob battery only lasts about 1 month. I have started carrying extras in my purse. I thought it was that the batteries I was buying were cheap so I got some more expensive ones to use but not about every 30 days or so I would go to get into my car the fob would fail I would have to manually unlock the door and place the fob on the ignition to get it to start. mostly annoying when it was raining and I couldn't just press the button and get in but with all the other issues with Nissan just another reminder of the crap you got saddled with
