Altima Hybrid EY

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,000 miles

After 2 years of owning my 2010 Altima Hybrid, about 4 dozen times I cannot get it to start. Everything is fine on the car, but the Push Engine button does not start the engine even though the brake is pushed down, and the gas & battery are full. I never know when or where my car won't start and when I'll be stuck somewhere.

Altima Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Qr25de

  • Automatic transmission
  • 22,500 miles

The engine will not crank (or go to READY MODE - Hybrid) when pressing the push-button ignition switch and applying the brake pedal.

The fix is:

Install a new brake lamp switch and sub-harness.
