So I have stated before about the braking issue I am having with my Nissan Armada. The brake light would come on and the car would make a weird loud bonging noise and vibration from the front end. Well now as I was driving the brake, abs, VDC and the 4x4 light all came on and when I went to press the brake it started making the weird noise again. I pull off to the side and turned the car off and on but all the lights stayed on. The noise and the vibration stopped but that was it. Now I can't get the lights to go off like in the past which is really annoying.

I can't believe that Nissan has not owned up to this issue and recalled thiese vehicles. It looks like now I will not have any choice but to take it to the mechanic to get looked at. The NHTSA should set in and force Nissan to address this problem before someone get hurt or even killed. I'm so PISSED right now with Nissan and this will be the last Nissan I will ever buy. This was not a cheap car for me to have to be dealing with this problem.

It first happened a while back when I went to drive off and the brake light came on. When I pressed the brakes, there was a loud bonging noise and vibrating from the brakes. I pulled off to the side and checked the car. There was nothing I could see wrong with the car. I turned the car back on and the brake light was off and everything was working fine. A few month pass and the same thing happened again. So I turned off the car and back on and again everything was fine.

I did some research online to find out that this is a common issue with the Nissan Armada. I wrote a letter to Nissan with no results as they did not want to own up to the issue. At this time, I haven't taken it to get fixed as from what I've read this could cost over $1000. I think it's ridiculous that Nissan has not issued a recall on this problem.

We brought our Armada into the Anderson Nissan dealership in Rockford, because the brakes failed when my wife was driving it. They could not duplicate or find a code, so they sent us on our way. That was about a month ago. The last few days, it has happened several times. I tried to set up service with Bill the service manager, but he basically said if we cant get the code, or witness the problem, he won't do anything. Problem is, the only way to drive it is to pull over and shut the truck off, and this resets the code! I just wrote Nissan customer service about this issue, and asked them, " what do you suggest I do now, to keep my family safe?"

Understand, the truck is an 04, with about 85000 miles on it. I have never asked for any warranty assistance up to this point, even though there are several class action lawsuits against Nissan on this problem. I have also been a long time Nissan owner, who apparently are is good supply, since they are not concerned about killing us off.....

It also must be mentioned my last 3 new Nissan's I purchased thru this dealer, the Armada, an Xterra, and a Frontier.

I believe the issue is the Booster, and the defective Delta sensor. I will update, when I hear from Nissan customer service.

This situation did not cause me the death or accident yet but eventually it will, like many others brakes go loose and car wouldn't stop rather pedal goes to bottom and grinding/spring pulling sound come from engine compartment.

I have contacted Nissan America and they say they don't any knowledge about this issue. I took my car to Nalley Nissan in Decatur GA, and the dumb technician said that i would have to bring the car while is doing this brake trick in order for them to diagnose, NHSTA has to come up with a recall before people die from this issue, they also have plenty of reports on this yet don't do anything about it,

I HAVE A 04 NISSIAN ARMADA ..WELL ABOUT A MONTH OR TWO I WAS GOING THRU TOWN AROUND 35 MPH, AND I WHEN TO STOP AT LIGHT I DIDN'T HAVE BUT 20% BRAKES. THE BRAKE LIGHT WAS ON. I WAS SCARED TO DEATH. I GOT STOPPED AT STORE, CUT THE CAR OFF AND HIT EMERGENCY BRAKE. MY HUBBY THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN, ON BUT IT WASN'T.

I GOT IT TOWED TO SHOP WHERE THEY SAID BRAKES AND EVERYTHING LOOKED GREAT. WELL A COUPLE WEEKS AGO THE SAME THING HAPPENED. I WAS GOING THRU TOWN AROUND 25 MPH AND THE BRAKE LIGHT WAS ON, NOT THE ABS THE BRAKE LIGHT WAS ON, AND I HAD VERY LITTLE BRAKES GOT TO STORE, CUT CAR OFF AND IT WAS FINE.

I TOOK BACK TO SHOP AND GOT BRAKES, ROTORS ,NEW BRAKE EVERYTHING. IT DID IT AGAIN I AM PI$$ED! I HAVE READ OVER 250 REVIEW ON THIS SAME PROBLEM HAPPEN TO OTHER PEOPLE WHEN IS NISSAN GOING TO DO SOMETHING I DON'T HAVE MONEY TO PUT IN THIS CAR THAT I THOUGHT WAS TOP OF THE LINE WHEN I GOT IT THIS IS A ISSUE THAT IS GOING TO KILL SOMEONE NISSAN IS GOING TO BE JUST LIKE GENERAL MOTORS PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME AND TELL ME WHAT TO DO

Upon trying to brake I heard a grinding sound like metal upon metal and my brakes would not grab I had to swerve in order to not hit the car ahead of me. I decided to go back home and take a look at my brakes and upon entering my driveway I crashed into my garage gate as the vehicle would not stop. I thought that my brake pad was worn out but upon inspection my brake pad and rotor I found that they were in excellent condition. WHAT'S CAUSING THIS PROBLEM?

I immediately went on Nissan website to see if they had a recall for this problem but did not see any. I Google this problem and came upon several complaints regarding this same complaint. DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE NISSAN DOES A RECALL ON THIS BRAKE PROBLEM? If this problem continues to exist I plan to trade in this vehicle as I don't want to be the one who has to die to get this problem to come to light.

SHAME ON YOU NISSAN. I will and I encourage everyone with this problem to go to their local news station and make a complaint. Maybe if this problem is publicize Nissan will be forced to make a recall.

On September 20, 2013, this was 2nd noted time my 2004 Nissan Armada 140,000 miles, driving at approximately 10 MPH in the down town traffic the brake light illuminated on dashboard. Pressure was applied to the brake pedal, like a catch and let go feeling, you hear grinding, springy sound. To solve the problem at the time, I turned off the truck and restart the engine, it seemed to reset the computer, the problem disappear at that time. I researched the problem in Nissan internet forums and it looks like it is a fairly common problem as I was able to find numerous reports of the same. I think this a major safety issue since it does affect the stopping ability of the vehicle. My husband took the vehicle in to Nissan, states nothing wrong with the vehicle. Made me think something wrong with me, I knew that happen. The Vehicle reset after shut off. This happen again 3 week later, will take again to Nissan tomorrow with printed complaints off line. This is very scary, I'm afraid to drive, praying will make it to work with out killing my self or someone else.
