At any given time, the brake light will appear on the instrument panel. During this time extra effort is required to apply the brakes when trying to stop. When the brakes are applied, there is a horrible grinding sound coming from the front of the vehicle. Turning the engine off and back on can sometimes "fix" it but on this particular day it did it 5 times in a row. This problem has been known to happen to drivers of 2005 Nissan Armadas for a few years and Nissan has yet to perform/issue any corrective actions. When you take the vehicle to have the problem diagnosed they tell you it's the brake booster and it will cost $900+ to fix. It amazed me that it didn't take long for them to tell me the solution when I told them the problem...so obviously the dealership has heard of the problem before....why hasn't/isn't Nissan doing anything to help its customers?
