Plain and Simple. I own a 2008 Nissan Armada. I take very very good care of this vehicle. I bought it used in November of 2008 with 19,000 miles on it. To date, I have 60,000 miles on it. When I purchased the vehicle from a Nissan Dealership in Atlanta Metro area, I noticed the carpet underneath the drivers seat. Did not make much of it. After a couple of months if not 1 year of ownership I pulled back the rug and noticed that the carpet was rotting. I took it to the nissan dealership and asked them to look into it. I thought it was maybe a manufacturing defect and wanted to have it repaired under the existing warranty. Nissan denied the claim and refused to repair it.
I left the issue alone. As the years have gone on, I have noticed especially this past year, 2012 that the carpet has rotted away more. Now I am pissed. I know what type of fight I have ahead of me with Nissan. It just pisses me off cause I know that I did not do anything to my vehicle to cause the carpet to start Rotting away. Nissan is going to say that I spilled something on the carpet when I know that is not the case. I need help. I dont know if anybody else has experienced this with Nissan vehicles. If so, Please contact me so that maybe we can fight this cause together.
