I attempted to access the rear liftgate however, it failed to open after pushing unlock on the fob as well as unlocking manually on the interior door. Also attempted opening the glass hatch and that too does not unlock. Searching online shows this is a very common problem dating as far back as 2004. Club Armada forum suggests it is due to the faulty rear door lock actuator and/or faulty locking mechanism. The vehicle was not repaired yet but need to schedule an appointment and determine if it si covered under warranty.

The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds she heard a loud noise. The contact also stated that the console was approximately 3' long and 1' wide. The vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer or an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact feels as though if there were someone seating in the second and third row of the vehicle they would have been severely injured. The failure and current mileage was approximately 25,000.
