problem #1

Armada SE 5.8L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,947 miles

Replaced 4 tires at 49,000 km and during the wheel alignment center, was informed that all the 4 eccentric bolts needs to be replaced to perform Wheel Alignment!

The reason is that certain series of Nissan namely, Armada, Path Finder, Xttera does not have markings on the factory provided eccentric bolts and this becomes difficult to perform the wheel alignment.

The only solution is to replace all the 4 eccentric bolts along with arms, nuts, pins and road wheels with an expensive labor charge to perform wheel alignment.

The wheel alignment costed another US$ 54.79 and the total bill stood at US$ 387!

Clearly a marketing strategy for after sales. Really disappointing, yet wiser now!
