The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Armada. While the vehicle was being washed, the contact noticed water entering the vehicle from the driver side tailgate. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The dealer suggested replacing the hinges on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer stated that the repair was not covered under warranty. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000.
