A little over a year ago my car started to display -??BCI malfunction-??, -??Forward collision-??, -??slick conditions-?? on the dashboard and would jolt me forward and then not allow me to accelerate. We didn-??t know when it would happen because it didn-??t happen every time until I got stuck at a stop light due to those lights displaying and jolting me forward and not allowing me to accelerate. I contacted the dealership and they got the car in and fixed what needed to be fixed and it didn-??t do it again. Year and a half later it started displaying the same lights on the dashboard, jolting me forward and not letting me accelerate. This time I was parked in my work parking light and there was a light pole about 4 feet in front of my parking spot. I turned my car on, put it into gear it displayed those same images that I stated above, jolted me forwarded directly into the light pole causing my airbags to deploy into my neck. No one else was hurt as it was just myself in the vehicle, with the way it hit the pole I do not believe my airbag should have even went off as it should have been the passenger side airbag that should have deployed if any at all. My insurance has been contacted and is aware of the incident and it is currently at a shop being looked over. I have also contacted the Nissan dealership and they stated there wasn-??t a recall on my vehicle and there wasn-??t anything they could do for me.

My car shuts off and will not restart. The battery drains if I go for a short drive. I have taken and had it inspected by the dealership I bought it from and the Nissan dealership itself. I was told that it is showing no codes therefore they cannot address the issue. They drained and recharged my battery at the Nissan dealership, and it continues to happen. I have looked online and found many people with the same vehicle have the same issues. As for safety of the car I am not sure it poses a threat to anyone, but me walking home in this heat because my $35,000 is not good. My mother who has many respiratory issues cannot be in this heat and when the car did not start she was forced to sit and wait for my husband to leave work for an hour to jump us. Many say to disconnect a wire but I was warned if I do anything, my warranty will be void. The Nissan dealership said because there is not a code for that, they cannot do anything. This happened yesterday and this is the 6th time since I got it.

Battery has been changed several times. First time we were told there was a recall on due to the brake light draining the battery. This was supposedly fixed and we were charged for a new battery. Within a year of new battery we experienced the same thing car not starting due to dead battery, we took it back to dealership and was told the battery they sold us was defective and we needed it to be replaced, battery got replaced (no charge since it was still under warranty). A year after that I-??m back here in the dealership due to the same problem vehicle not starting due to a dead battery, now they are saying battery is not defective but they need to investigate further and in order to do that they charging me $160 dollars. Something is clearly defective that continues to drain the battery for no reason. It-??s ridiculous having to change batteries every year and having the car not starting and having to jump start it every time you need to be somewhere. I have not have good experiences with nissan I will not purchases another vehicle ever again from them, so people should be aware of all the problems and their failure to address them.

12/2/2021 SUV accelerated on its own incident happened in my daughters driveway. SUV is available for inspection I have possession as of 1/22/22 picked up from Nissan dealership. I pulled in the her driveway then I backed up so I would be half on the driveway and half on grass in the event her or her husband needed to leave Backed up the car and soon as I put the car in drive the car accelerated on its own. I pushed my foot on the brake pedal as hard as I could would not stop till it hit my daughters car which then shoved her new car through her garage door. A warning message came up on the screen stating SONAR Malfunction as this was all going on. There was a police report filed that same day. Car was taken to Nissan Dealership We were told to leave the car and contact Nissan Consumer hotline. I called they said they would assign someone to the case and they would call me. The first contact from the Nissan Consumer hotline case manager was1/3/2022. This person was very hard to reach. Called me and Stated inspection would be done in a couple weeks she would contact me when she had a date. She calls me the same day they were doing the inspection. Then called me back on 1/21/2022 to inform me the inspection results were in. Stated they could find anything wrong and were unable to duplicate. When I went to pick up my Nissan SUV we were handed a paper from the inspection did not have any details regarding the test. What did they do to come to the conclusion there is nothing wrong? They code is gone that came up when car was accelerating (sonar malfunction). They told us the car is safe to drive. I have had so much anxiety about driving period since this incident. Since Nissan stated it-€™s safe to drive my husband said he would we have no choice The day Nissan called back to inform us of that we-€™re be a scheduled inspection. I called back forgot to ask a few questions. Is the car safe we can drive this was before inspection results no return call.

The Armada drains the battery for no reason. The frontal collision warning comes on while driving even if no car are near and stays on. Car has power but will not start or release the gear to neutral. This has happen in several occasions and then it starts later on and no code for draining battery was found at dealer. They try to blame it on the trailer brake. I remove it and it still does the same. Trailer brake wiring was done at factory. Car only has 20428 miles.

I purchase my Nissan Armada in April 2019. In November 2019 the car left me stranded with a death battery. I had to get it jump started and then drive it to the dealership, a low battery. This happened again in December 2019, same issue, they checked and changed the the battery. This year I had the same issue 4 times already sometimes parked at my house some at public areas, through out the year, the first two times they had to jump started. The third time the mechanic they sent couldn't started, since I was stranded in a public parking lot another person had to help. The fourth time the towing company could not get it started and it had to be towed. They have checked the ignition, the battery, the electrical and they can't find what is making the battery drain power and leave it useful. The dealerships respond is, to drive it longer distance once a week or to buy a power battery for my house to charge it once a week! the car is still in the shop since I will not take this as a logical explanation, for a new car with only 9.800 miles. Their solutions are 1- to buy a larger battery at my cost and lose the warranty from them,2- buy a battery tender to charge my car once a week ( at my own cost) 3- buy a new car ( our request to see options) and for them is a regular tradeoff. They can't find the problem and their solutions are not logical. Compared to other models and brands, with even less driving habits than mine, I don't see them having to go through this or charging their cars at home!! they don't have an answer and their solution as they tell me won't guarantee the car will work. And the worst part they all cost me money! it is sad that my investment and reliability on a family car is not giving me the confidence, safety and is a hazel when this happens. I have my toddler to Transport and I hate to be stuck somewhere with no help.

Having issues with my dome lights staying on, once all the doors, are closed. I've had this checked 3 times, at 2 different Nissan's and know one can find the issue. I'm putting it in the shop, later this week I've had to replace the battery, do to the dome lights, being on and I have no knowledge until my family comes home, or my neighbor lets us know. I just purchased this vehicle in March 2020.

Truck will not start after several attempts. Have had battery replaced in September due to the same problem. Have had the brake switched replaced due to dealership stating that they couldn't find a problem but replaced switch anyway (longview, tx). I took vehicle back to original dealership on today, clay cooley of dallas, tx and they provided me with a two page list of codes and asked has the vehicle ever been in a wreck. I told them not to my knowledge unless it happened before I purchased it from their lot. They stated that they couldn't make a diagnosis and this time and sent me back home with a vehicle that keeps me stranded and having to boost off.

Purchased new 11/30/2018. On 10/4/19 (mileage: 9,742), vehicle was parked and would not start. Dealership (northpark) claimed faulty battery and replaced. On 12/11/19 (mileage: 12,241), vehicle was parked and would not start. Same dealership replaced "faulty brake light switch". on 1/27/20 (mileage: 13,409), car was parked and would not start. Same dealership replaced "faulty battery". each time vehicle was disabled, we were able to get it running by charging the battery and driving to the dealership, which is located 4-5 miles from home/work. It is noted that the voltage needle moves excessively while the vehicle is in use. It continues to do so at this time. Concerns were brought to the service advisor that it is not faulty batteries - however, service dept. Stated they have an diagnostic tests and cannot find anything wrong. On 1/27/20, called Nissan Consumer Affairs but as of 1/29/20 my calls have not been returned.

Vehicle sonar system didn't warned driver about obstacle which resulted in hitting it causing damage to the rear while backing up bumper. It works fine 90% of the time but it didn't at least twice when my wife hit lamp and 2nd time poll. I took vehicle to baker Nissan explained what happened but they didn't find anything wrong with it. When I asked how many times they tested it the response was: 1 time representative tried backing up and 1 time mechanic.

When I am towing my 4000 lb trailer, using a weight distribution hitch, set up properly by my rv specialist, with either unloaded or with a loaded weight not exceeding even 6000 pounds, the Armada sinks in the back end in a way that the rear tires come extremely close to the wheel well rims. My rv specialist is very concerned that if I am driving and hit a bump or hole, the tire could strike the wheel well rim and cause a blow out or major accident. They are concerned the spring ratio is not designed properly for the Armada (which has a tow package and is supposedly capable of towing 8500 pounds). I have brought this issue to Nissan North America's attention and they will not even take a look at the problem, instead telling me that if an accident occurs, it is covered under my warranty!

Bci malfunction message displayed on the dash along with other indicators. Vehicle wouldn't start. Service department suggested to continue to press the brake and push start button while I waited for road side assistance tow. After about 15 min the vehicle started. Minutes later the vehicle was on but would not move out of park. Continued to attempt while waiting for tow again and it eventually went out of park. The next day it would not start again and eventually did. Dropped off at dealer for service. Picked up that afternoon and was told they replaced the brake switch. I drove less than a mile away and the bci malfunction message came on again and displayed other warning lights again as well. I was back at the dealership within 5 minutes of departing and placed in the same small loaner vehicle that did not fit my family. Picked it up my Armada the next day around noon and was told they now replaced the brake sensor. Drove off and made one stop on my way back to work which is 4 miles from the dealership and before I made it there the bci malfunction light came on again. After much conversation and frustration the vehicle is back at the dealership for the 4th time for the same problem. I purchased the vehicle new June 13, 2019 and the problems started Sept 4th 2019.
