The contact owns 2010 Nissan Cube. While having a nail removed from the tire, the technician stated the sensor was defective and that the tire pressure monitoring system light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the light only began to illuminate when the nail was in the tire causing a loss of tire pressure. The warning light remained illuminated after the tire was repaired. The contact spoke to the manufacturer about NHTSA recall campaign number: 09V393000 (tires), but was told the 2010 model year was not included. The failure and current mileage was 46,516.

The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Cube with toyo tires, line size P195/60/R15. The contact stated that all four tires were completely worn out. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop, who stated that the failure was normal wear and tear. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The tires were not replaced. The dot number was not available. The failure mileage was 20,000 and current mileage was 21,000.
