Bought this truck and found out it didn't pass emissions in my area because of gas leak. Found out other models were covered for this problem under nationwide recall by Nissan but because mine is supercharged (from factory) it was not. Even though it is same gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, and frame as the recalled Frontiers and Xterras

Experiencing the same fuel system issues as everyone else on this forum. The tank rusts and create vapor leakage which triggers the check engine light. Called and spoke to Nissan several times and they won't recall or stand up to the original recall. When I asked the rep if Nissan is willing to sacrifice the life of their customers before addressing this issue, she said there is nothing she can do. It's absurd and their customer service is awful.
