The paint started delaminating around windshield in 2011 was told oh well...now when I wash the truck paint is sheeting off at wheel fenders.. this is poor quality and great advertisement for Nissan quality...Nissan says too bad its my problem when at dealer there is a problem with newer white painted cars they are doing the same

Frontier XE

The vehicle has been good, other than a few small problems. The paint isn't that bad. It's just annoying.

peeling paint in rain channels & rust in back 2 channels

I can't believe that this is the first formal complaint on this website. I have seen HUNDREDS or posts about peeling paint on a variety of Nissan vehicles due to substandard paint or the paint process, as well as rust in the back two corners of the rain channels where water collects in the little impressions on the frontiers. Nissan apparently knows about rust and has a 5 yr warranty but will only honor it if it is surface rust. Which means as soon as the warranty expires, the rust just eats the rest of the way through causing non repairable damage. The paint in the channels and on the body panels starts to peel away from the primer.
