My complaint is much like other complaints I have been reading about. I fill up with gas and the fuel gauge showed A quarter of a tank, like I never filled up. I began driving down the road and the fuel gauge went all the way to the bottom and the fuel light came on. The check engine soon light came on also. After I drove for a while, I looked at the gauge and the fuel gauge was back to normal. It is currently still doing this. I looked online and found out that I was not alone in this issue. I also saw that it had a recall on the fuel gauge issue. Contacted Nissan and like other people reported, Nissan said my V.I.N. was not on the list for the recall. Sounds like the standard answer. I don't know how to get my V.I.N. on the list. To many people are having the same problem. This is obviously a defect but Nissan will not correct the problem. Help!
