I PURCHASED THE TRUCK IN 9-15 AND WITHIN THE FIRST DAY I WAS AMAZED THE AMOUNT OF GAS BEING CONSUMED BY A NEW IMPROVED NISSAN ENGINE ON MY WAY HOME. . I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND SPOKE TO THE ACCOUNT PERSON AND SALES PERSON AND ASKED TO BRING IT BACK BUT I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD. THE PREVIOUS ENGINE I WAS TOLD GETS 3 MILES A GALLON MORE AS COMPARET TO THE NEW IMPROVED ENGINE. HOW CAN THIS BE WHEN GAS MILEAGE PER GALLON IS SUPPOSSED TO BE GOING UP ON NEW VEHICLES. I COMPLAINED AGAIN BUT THE DEALER EAS NO HELP. I CALLED NISSAN AND WAS TOLD TO BRING THE TRUCK IN FOR A DIAGNOSIS. ONE DEALER SAID UNLESS A ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THE SECOND DEALER SAID I NEEDED TO PUT MORE MILES ON THE MOTOR. THE FACT IS THE TRUCK FALLS BELOW STANDARD WHEN IT COMEC TO MPG. OTHER TRUCKS , CHEVY GETS 22-TO 26 MPG. I TOOK IT TO A THIRD DEALER 2-4-2016 HE DID A DIAGNOSIS AND COULD SEE NO ADJUSTNENTS OR MODIFICATIONS THEY COULD DO TO HELP THE MPG

Update from Mar 18, 2017: Nothing has been done about the poor gas mileage. the truck has become a liability to me. I want to get rig of it and get something that gives better gas mileage, what can you do for me???
