I thought those Frontiers were very reliable. So once I picked up my kid from school (pre-k) - it was a rainy wet snow day. I got home and turned the key off. I know lights and everything turns off when key is off. A few hours later, when I look out of my window I see how weather is then I looked - and the light still was on. I thought door was loose or not shut completely. I went outside in pouring rain and cold wet snow weather. I opened door and the radio was still on playing. I went to grab my key and turn, and start engine starts fine, then turn it off and radio still on with key off.
I called dealer who told me to bring it in said wires got wet. I left it over the weekend, partly because my dealer free loaner issues was ok. They took dash out and dried all wires out, and applied dielectrical grease to connections. Resealed windshield where water was coming in. Manufacturers these days use glue to attach windshields to truck... problem is solved. I so hope they fix issues for newer models.
I drove to Florida for Disney vacation. The gas mileage was great. The electrical system worked fine and I drove in rainy weather again. all good. Thank you, dealer fix warranty.
