This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
It was just in the shop last week, they replaced the battery (not the first time) and today it won't start again.

Not the first time the car has been in for this issue. I'll have to look up the paper work to get other dates.

With no warning the car is completely dead. The fob would not even unlock the door. I had a jump and the car started, replaced the battery right away. Drove home and thought the problem was fixed. Tried to start the car a few hours latter and it was completely dead again. Very frustrating. This car is too new to have this sort of problem. Disappointed because I will have to miss work and figure out a way to get the car to the dealer.
Update from Nov 19, 2014: Turns out the engine battery and both key fob batteries had to be replaced. Very odd timing but works fine now......I hope.

I returned from a week long trip and went to the airport garage to get my car. The car would not turn over. The lights in the dash came on, clicking sound but nothing. I had the garage give me a jump; I was on my way. Three days later, getting ready for work, the same thing! I had AAA come again. I went to the dealer and they tell me to leave it and they charged (right) the battery for the whole day. OK. Next day fine, the day after again! I was so pissed off I could have circled around the Earth!! I call AAA - the guy says it's either the key (I always replace the fob batts @ the same time) or the battery. The battery is only 1.5 years old. I take it to another Nissan dealer; I'm there all damn day! They claimed it was a wire that was corroded? So, it was replaced to the tune of $244. If it was broken or cracked -free but Nooooooo corroded. On my way, three ucking days later the SAME thing. I had to call AAA (4 times you call if you are a member you have to pay), I was seeing colors I was so mad!!!! Back to the geniuses who had their 'Master Technician' repair it. I told him the same thing has happened, if this is a lemon, a dude, a fcked up car- don't fix I want another one. He wants to see what is wrong. They kept it for 3 days and yes the piece of sh*t did the same thing with them. Service finally calls me and tells me that it was the battery. Huh? The battery is a year and a half old?!! They replaced the battery. No charge for the battery or the rental I had to have. So far it's fine but if it happens again- I'm trading the sh*t in for another car @ another dealer. Humpfh! What looks good is not always good.
