Almost total loss of power on the freeway. Went from 85 to 50 almost immediately and continued to slow almost to the point of getting rear ended. Gas pedal to the floor. Had to pull over on the side of the freeway and wait 30 minutes for the engine to cool down.

I bought my Nissan Juke Shiro in the UK 2012, had it shipped out to Spain. It always seen to be ok until a friend drove it and said, hey get your car looked at, there might be a problem with the engine. Took my Juke to a Nissan dealer who I had used every year to service it. Yes you need a new Gear box, I was just under the warranty so apparently a new gear box was fitted, I had to pay for it to be fitted.less than 2 years later another friend drove my car and said, hey you've got no power in your car, you need to get it looked at. Guess what, The same problem, I need a new Gear Box. I have been without my car for 4 weeks, live 1 hour walk to the main road. I was not offered a courtesy car this time or the last time. I now have a car stuck in the Nissan dealers and without a car, as i have to take the hired car I had, back to the hired company in 5 hours.
Nissan Europe have offered a 35% discount on a new gear box and the dealer 10% totaling 45%. I just don't have the €5,500.00 to pay for anything, specially as I know it is a Nissan fault.
I am sick of fighting for the rights as a buyer.
What do I do?
