Juke

Purchased this Juke back in early 2020, and nothing was wrong with it until the last month where it broke down twice. The first time I was driving it on an incredibly busy road and thankfully pulled over just in time for it to shut off everything electrical but the engine kept running. There was a leak also under the hood which caused a lot of steam until the car eventually died altogether. That issue was due to the alternator being shot, the serpentine belt was destroyed, and the battery died completely.

About two weeks after getting it back from repair, it was making a lot of noise in clunks, whining, groaning, and loud whirring. There have been instances where my phone, hooked up to the aux chord, would stop producing sound on the stereo system. The navigation screen seemed to have flickered once at this time. Drove it home from work and parked it, but noticed it was surging while idle. Stopped and started the car again and it was gone. It was going on the next day for inspection but when I went to start it the following morning, the brakes were stiff and the steering wheel wouldn’t budge. The stay engine button wouldn’t light up red or green at all, but I could turn on interior lights and headlights.

Switched key fobs and it started up so I brought it over to the shop and have them the working key fob. They then couldn’t get it started with that one and replaced the battery in it to do so. They found the front wheel bearings were in terrible condition and had to be replaced. Still haven’t found out about the electrical issue. The mileage at this time is only 46090 miles.
