2014 Nissan Juke purchased new in march of 2014 Transmission always stuttered and slow to accelerate scary in traffic. at 63,000 miles transmission failure Dealer told it had thrown 23 codes before failure, odd because despite not one warning light until complete failure I have all my oil and service done at the dealer, why did they not catch it?
Fast forward to 93,00 miles cvt transmission complete failure again this time it take s the turbo unit with it. Dealer quoted me 7,500 for repair cars market value is 7,300 dollars. i paid the car off with a nine thousand dollar cashiers check. The dealership offered me 1,000 dollars trade in as. I called Nissan consumer affairs, they looked into my case and called me back saying there is nothing they can do for me. Worst vehicle experience of my life.

This is the 3rd transmission for this car. The original transmission made it to 56000 miles before I had to have it replaced (Under warranty thank God). Now the odometer is at 140,000 miles and I am replacing the transmission again! The CVT transmissions have a lot of power, but they DO NOT LAST ! Avoid buying Nissan vehicles with CVT transmission. They are GARBAGE!
I have always kept up my maintenance on this car, and there is no excuse for a transmission to only get 50-80K miles! And the service you get from Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery for this type of repair is terrible. It took over 3 weeks to replace the first transmission, and so far it has been 1 week since I dropped the car off for the latest replacement. The replacement transmission has not been delivered, so I am waiting again. Maybe within a couple more weeks I'll have my piece of crap Juke ready to roll for another 50K miles.

Seals failed... and oil leaked into transmission, leaving a corroded transmission pan that was discovered during 35,000 mile tuneup.
